We are very pleased to hear that the solar water heating system in the brand new Canoe Racing NZ centre is going great guns.
We’ll never be able to compete with Lisa Carrington and Taris Harker’s guns though! Being from the Bay of Plenty we’re more than a little proud of our fantastic local athletes and are delighted to have contributed in a small way to the new Canoe Racing NZ High Performance Centre on Lake Karapiro.
We’re not sure how much more high performing these guys can get. But once they’ve finished on the lake they can now head for a solar heated shower thanks to a high performance Apricus solar hot water system.
The brand new, $2.3 million High Performance Centre at Karapiro has three Apricus thirty tube collectors with 660L of hot water storage to keep up with our fantastic athletes all year.
